Penny is the 2nd of four foals out of Severn Buttons 'N Bows, and the only non-grey so far. Her sister, Miracle Fancy Free, has been a WPCSA National High Score Champion in performance; her sister Miracle A Certain Charm was the Reserve Supreme Champion of the Brookside Gold Show in CA in 2007, and her brother Miracle Rags to Riches is already a Reserve Grand Champion as a yearling.

************************************************************************************************************** Penny made her show ring debut at the 2003 Heart of MN Welsh Classic, and it was a grand success! As a yearling, and in a class of 5 two-and-under Section A fillies (three of which were 2-yr-olds), Penny was placed 1st under judge Lorali Casipit of CA, who also placed Penny's mom, Buttons, Res. Supreme Champion at the same show. Penny is a definite show pony, she entered the ring with a huge, floating trot and was a joy to show.

August 2003: Penny is back from her 2nd show, the Welsh of Wisconsin Silver Show, and she did very well. In the Sec. A fillies 2 & under class (6 entries), Penny was 2nd under both judges, 2nd only to her half-sister, Miracle Maid to Order.

September 2003: Since I last updated this page, Penny has attended two more shows, bringing home several more ribbons, including three additional blue ribbons for her collection (2 in Sec. A fillies and 1 in Novice Section A [the class had 7 entries of all ages!]). However, the highlight of her show season came at the Heart of MN Welsh Silver Show on September 27th, when Penny was named Reserve Grand Champion Section A under judge Annique Cohen-Wichner! Penny's mom, Buttons, was the Grand Champion, so it was exciting to see mother and daughter place so well!

November 2003: The Year End awards are starting to be announced.... and Penny has been awarded the following:
