We're very happy to announce the long-anticipated arrival of a very special Miracle! Miracle Minute Maid arrived in the wee hours of the morning on June 16th, and she is a delightful bay Sec. A filly out of Miracle Maid to Order (Gallimaufry Jaguar x Heritage Hall's The Cat's Meow), and sired by Mt. Ridge Yellow Jacket. This is the first cross of a Jaguar daughter with Jack, and we're really pleased with the result! Here's the little girl at just a few days old:

More good news from CA; Miracle Rags to Riches (yearling Sec. A colt [Gallimaufry Jaguar x Severn Buttons 'N Bows]) is currently standing #1 in the nation on the WPCSA High Score list for Sec. A colts! Congratulations to Rags' owner!

Also, many congratulations to the owner of Miracle Merry Sunshine (yearling Sec. A filly [Mt. Ridge Yellow Jacket x Heritage Hall's the Cat's Meow]) on her excellent outing at the WPCSA Ponies in the Shade show in Florida on June 22nd. "Blondie" was the winner of the Mountain and Moorland class, won the Sec. A 2 & under class with both judges, and was named Reserve Grand Champion under both judges as well! Huge congratulations on Blondie's success at her very first show!

We're happy to report that Miracle Best Kept Secret (six year old Sec. A mare [Gallimaufry Jaguar x Evans Matilda the Dragon]) is showing on the A circuit this year out in California! We look forward to hearing about "Minx" and her continued success in the show ring.

June 6th 2008...

Still busy, busy, busy! The days are flying by, but that means that we have lots of news to update on this page! :-)

First and foremost, we were very happy to greet the first Miracle of 2008 on Monday, June 2nd. Severn Ribbons 'N Lace delivered a simply wonderful buckskin Sec A colt, sired by Mt. Ridge Yellow Jacket. This new little guy is unnamed as of yet, but he is extremely fancy with all four full stockings and a blaze. He has a beautiful face with gorgeous eyes, and is quite a cute mover already. :-)

In other news, we attended the "A Bit of Wales" silver show on May 17th... LBF Linyanti won her class under both judges and was also the Grand Champion Sec. C/D under both judges. Our yearling Sec A filly, Miracle Lady Fiona, was 1st and 2nd out of five entries in the 2-and-under Sec A fillies class, so we were very pleased with how well she did at her very first show!

... and last but not least, Severn Buttons 'N Bows was 1st and 2nd in the Sec. A mares class, Grand and Reserve Grand Champion Section A, and Supreme and Reserve Supreme Champion of the show.

We also had excellent news from the new owner of Miracle Rags to Riches, now in CA. Rags attended back-to-back WPCSA Gold shows a few weeks ago, and under four judges, he placed first under 3 of them, and was also named Reserve Grand Champion Section A under one judge-- at only 11 months old. :-) We're so delighted to see another Jaguar/Buttons baby doing so well in the show ring. Rags' sisters include National High Score Perf. Champion Miracle Fancy Free, Reserve Supreme Champion Miracle A Certain Charm, and Regional High Score Champion Miracle Penny's a Pip. It looks like Rags is starting off his show career in fine fashion!

We're still waiting for our second foal of 2008... Miracle Maid to Order is due any day, so check back soon for updated news!

March 2008...

Busy, busy, busy! As is evident from this very outdated news page, it's time for an update! We're still buried under a couple of feet of snow, but spring is just around the corner... at least we hope so. :-)

We're excited to announce that the WPCSA (Welsh Pony and Cob Society of America) Regional High Score awards have recently been announced. Miracle Lili Maiden, (Mt. Ridge Yellow Jacket x Doncardeb Miss Sunny Ruby) 2006 palomino filly, is the Champion Section A Filly for the North Central Region, and Miracle A Certain Charm (Gallimaufry Jaguar x Severn Buttons 'N Bows) 2005 grey filly now in CA, is the Res. Champion Sec. A Filly for the South West Region. We're delighted that these two Miracle fillies did so well in the show ring in 2007.

In other pony news, we are eagerly awaiting the arrival of our 2008 foals. We are expecting two Section A Welsh Mountain Pony foals. Severn Ribbons 'N Lace (Severn West Wind LOM x Alliance Designer Bow LOM by *Synod Dicky Bow) is expecting a foal by Mt. Ridge Yellow Jacket (*Vardra Secret x *Lippens Queen Bee by Fronbach Canny Lad-- a Synod Hello son). This foal is due in May. In June we are expecting the first foal out of Miracle Maid to Order (Gallimaufry Jaguar x Heritage Hall's the Cat's Meow by Tanglewood Sundance). This foal is also sired by Yellow Jacket.

May 2007 Show News!!!

On May 19th and 20th we attended the 2nd Annual "A Bit Of Wales" show and as usual the weather was interesting. Upon arrival Sat. the 19th, we were unloading ponies and complaining of it being too hot.....then the wind picked up, the cold front moved in and we were in the 30's by the next morning. So it was a little chilly at times, but still it appeared that folks were having a good time.

There were good numbers of Sec. A's and B's and half welsh and a few cobs. Our Sec. A mare, Miracle Maid To Order (Gallimaufry Jaguar x Heritage Hall's The Cat's Meow) was 1st and 3rd in her mare class and was Res. Ch. mare as well. She's always a good girl at the shows and easy to take along. Our cob mare LBF Linyanti won her mare class with both judges.

But the shining star for us was Sec. A yearling, Miracle Lili Maiden (Mt. Ridge Yellow Jacket by Doncardeb Miss Sunny Ruby). Lili won her very nice filly class with both judges and went on to be Gr. Ch. Sec. A and Res. Supreme Ch. under one of the judges!! We were really pleased! Here is a photo of Lili with her Res. Supreme Champion sash.
