Mati has been shown for two years on the local open show circuit, and is always in the ribbons. She also has blue ribbons in showmanship, and was the Champion Section A filly at the Heart of the North Silver Show under judge Sabra Schiller. Mati is continuing to be trained and shown (she won Intro Level A and was second in Intro Level B at her first dressage show of 2004!), when she's not busy being a mom!

We took Mati to a hunter-jumper show on August 2nd, 2003. Emily was entered in the leadline equitation class and she was so excited. She tried very hard to maintain a good position and Mati behaved like a lady. Emy took the blue in the class and a photo of the winning moment appears below.

Dan rode Mati in another equitation class and this was Mati's first show under saddle. The class was five horses and Mati. Dan was so excited when he was placed first in that class as well. How fun for him! Mati has been shown many times, in hand and costume classes etc...but this was a really crazy, busy show with lots of horses and she did really well. She was also entered in two dressage classes, but the show got rained out and postponed.
